Why ARDES

What Sets ARDES Loops Apart

ARDES buckles guarantee a record retention rate, thanks to the innovative design of the clip and male tip, which operates on the harpoon principle. This design requires minimal effort on the user’s part to clip the buckle shut, while ensuring high strength, as certified by CETIM in laboratory tests.

RFID Electronic Tags (HDX & FDX)

Instant identification, automated traceability

ARDES electronic ear tags were developed in collaboration with the French Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble, an expert in RFID technology. Approved by the International Committee for Animal Recording (ICAR), they guarantee a long read range and consistently reliable performance—unlike the competition.

In addition, electronic identification makes it possible to leverage the animal’s identification number by implementing solutions in the field, such as herd management software, milking assistance, automatic weighing systems, automated animal sorting, automatic animal counting, and automatic feed distribution…

Implantable RFID chips

Permanent Identification for Pets and Horses

Working closely with our long-standing German partner, a European leader in radio frequency technology, ARDES has developed a comprehensive line of implantable RFID microchips that meet international standards. Each microchip is tested individually—with a zero failure rate.

  • Zero risk for your practice

Each chip is tested individually before shipment: no surprises during implantation, no customer returns due to malfunction.

  • A gentler approach for the animal

The fine needle and the implant's design reduce the stress of insertion for both you and your pet.

  • Traceability That Lasts

The chip and blister pack remain reliable for up to 5 years after receipt: you can store them without worrying about expiration dates.
